Providing income-generating sustainable aids to end begging
Details
On behalf of Upazila Social Services Office, Batiaghata, 2 beggars were provided income-generating sustainable support materials to eliminate begging under beggar rehabilitation and alternative employment. Mobile shops for running tea and drink shops are provided among them as aids in eradicating begging. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mr. Sheikh Nurul Alam, Upazila Social Service Officer Mr. Masudur Rahman, Upazila Parishad Vice-Chairman Mr. Nitai Gain, Assistant Social Service Officer Mr. Satyajit Das, Union Social Worker in charge of Jalma Union Mr. Khursida Jahan, Union Social Worker in charge of Sador & Surkhali Union Mr. SM Waliullah Hussaini and all the staff of Upazila Social Service Office were present. Regular follow-up after providing support materials to those engaged in begging, so that they do not relapse into begging. Social Services Office, Batiaghata requests everyone's cooperation in this regard.
